After Illness do Wellness

While looking through the bill drawer I found a gift card for a massage that I had not used. I called Perfect Touch Day Spa and upgraded it–I have been sick you know. I could not wait to leave work on Thursday to start my afternoon of relaxing. The picture says it all. We must take care of ourselves. Remember, “thisisyourbestyear”.

This is my best year ever, and it can be yours too. When I turned 40, I thought it was the end of life as I knew it. When I turned 50, I knew it was the end. It was the end, the end of that year--nothing more and nothing less. I've retired, gone to another career, started a business, and have kept writing. I've taken classes including glass blowing, swing dancing and so much more. I'm making each year, my best year.

  1. Wow, you just reminded me that I have one too! Better find and use it. Since my mom’s passing, I’ve not pampered myself. Guess it’s about time I indulged. Thanks!

  2. Prayers that you are so much better.

I admit that I am spoiled in my later years…and pampering myself is one of my most favorite things to do. Smiles.

IPlus, with a devoted hubby and 3 adult daughters, I have hit the jackpot
    in retirement.

    God bless.
