Guest Post – Alzheimer’s–Not Remembering

I did a guest post on “HarsH ReaLITy”, and I think the post speaks for itself.

This is my best year ever, and it can be yours too. When I turned 40, I thought it was the end of life as I knew it. When I turned 50, I knew it was the end. It was the end, the end of that year--nothing more and nothing less. I've retired, gone to another career, started a business, and have kept writing. I've taken classes including glass blowing, swing dancing and so much more. I'm making each year, my best year.

  1. I watched this insidious disease slowly change and kill my mother and quite a few other parents/grandparents that I know. So I know what B. Smith and her husband are enduring. I hope they avail themselves of the information and advice of the Alzheimers Association, and have a strong support system. Her husband is really going to need the support in B’s late stages. No cure yet, but advances in medications to prolong the onset of the late stages. Also, encouraging news about the possible help that stem cell research may be able to provide. Always hope, but great need for donations and funding.
