Slow Your Roll–Sushi Roll That Is

Trying something new especially if you can take a good friend with you is always fun. My friend Gwen and I went Sushi making at Sushi Yoko in Ft. Worth. Both of us are kinda sorta sushi eaters, but we are women from the South so raw seafood is not our preferred way to eat it.

Graduation class.

We had a ball. The class was a fun way to spend an evening. Our instructor,  Lamar had lived in Japan as had one of the couples. We not only learned the basics of sushi making, we learned history and customs.

If you are looking for something different to do, gather a few friends and take a sushi making class at Sushi Yoko. They are located at 6333 Camp Bowie Blvd., #280, Ft. Worth, TX 76116.

Try something new this week, and remember “thisisyourbestyear”.

Looks like fun. I was “thinking” about tasting Myeisha’s on my birthday BUT decided I wasn’t quite ready for it yet!!!
