Skin Care At Whole Foods

I am always looking for products that work. It is not about the cost–remember Ponds? If it works then it’s a good thing. Where I purchase the product doesn’t matter either. I can get it from the discount store, online or at a high end store–it just needs to work.

Recently I was on my way back to Whole Foods to pick up the facial cleanser that I was using at the time. Yes, I said Whole Foods. They are very helpful there which is always a good selling point for me. You know when I got there, they were out and thought they might get some in the following week. Well Whole Foods is not down the street from me, it is a little drive. I informed the sales associate that I needed something to clean my face with, but I also needed something that would not leave me feeling dry. After talking more, she sold me on a product that I have sense fallen in love with.

Sibu Beauty 2

The product is Sibu Beauty–Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser. This product is wonderful.  It has little beads that give you a very gentle exfoliation that makes your skin feel great.  The product contains Sea Buckthorn which is a berry that is found in the Himalayans.

This information is taken directly from the Sibu Beauty website.

Directions For Use

In the morning and evening apply a generous amount of Balancing Facial Cleanser to moistened hands. Work facial cleanser into a lather, and gently massage onto face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

As I said before, it is a wonderful product especially if your skin is in transition–you know it’s not like it was before (smile).  Shopping at Whole Foods for facial cleanser has been a good thing for me.  The price of the product is about $17.  If you don’t have a Whole Foods near you, here is the website for Sibu Beauty where you can order online.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve been using Pond’s Dry Skin Cream for many years, following my mother. I don’t wear any make up–perhaps I should–but I need a cleanser that will not dry my skin any more than it is. I’m a diabetic. We (in Chicago) are expecting Whole Foods in my area by next year and will check out their products. I know the store, have shopped there in San Francisco, CA, Atlanta, GA., and Chicago’s north side.

The sales associates are very helpful and not pushy which is always a good thing. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but I have noticed that my once oily skin is not becoming very dry. I carry the Pond’s in my travel kit.
