Lunch With Chef Tre Wilcox

Well Weight Watchers starts again tomorrow in full force, but I do have to say thank you to them.  If it was not for Weight Watchers, I would not have been able to enjoy my lunch with Chef Tre Wilcox.  I would have eaten it, but I would feel guilty–not this time.  Love you Weight Watchers and my trainer Marsha Taplett owner of So Fit.

Now on to the chef, I mean the food.  Hey, they were one in the same.  I had a ball with my sister Carol and a mother and daughter duo from Dallas.  I know you have all heard of Chef Tre Wilcox who participated twice on Top Chef.

The man can cook.  We have “lunch and learn” at work.  If the lunches had Chef Tre cooking–well they would be very well attended. He prepared a 4 course lunch complete with a cocktail and/or wine.

While he cooked, he explained the dish that he was preparing.  He told us the ins and outs of the dish, and why he chose certain varieties of oils, vinegars and other ingredients. I kept looking for the gas range–induction was his choice.

It was time to go.  I was informed, full and happy!  Oh, I also left with a box of chocolates from Chocolate Secrets. The man gives candy too!

Remember “thisisyourbestyear“.  You may be a woman of a certain age, but reading the menu takes on a different meaning when having fun.

You can get in touch with Chef Tre at http://cheftre.eventbrite.com/ and Chocolate Secrets at www.chocolatesecrets.net.
