My Day At Treasure You Was Indeed A Treasure!

“Celebrating Second Chances for Overcomers” through Treasure You was an amazing event. The founder of Treasure You, Pat Smith believes everyone deserves a second change. She is using her experience to help women find a renewed sense of power and purpose. In a partnership with the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau she is bring together women from Dallas and across the United States who have overcome adversity for a celebration of new beginnings. This is my best year ever, and it can be yours too. When I turned 40, I thought it was the end of life as I knew it. When I turned 50, I knew it was the end. It was the end, the end of that year--nothing more and nothing less. I've retired, gone to another career, started a business, and have kept writing. I've taken classes including glass blowing, swing dancing and so much more. I'm making each year, my best year.

  1. Thanks for sharing the pictures of your red carpet event. I watched the live stream of the event and it was very inspiring to see the work that Pat and her organization is doing to help women all over the world. I agree with you that Robin Roberts is a true shero. You looked great on the red carpet by the way and your comments reveal that you had a fantastic time. So happy for you.

I really enjoy your blog. Keep up the good work.
