Boss Woman Psyche Terry, CEO of Urban Hydration

While looking for a documentary to watch I found one that caught my interest–Inside America’s Black Upper Class. It was interesting, but the thing that caught my interest was the story of the couple who created Urban Hydration.  You know how you think you know someone?  I thought I knew the wife of the duo.  As a former educator, my children say that I think I know everyone.

I finally remembered where I had seen her.  Some years ago I had the pleasure of interviewing her at the Texas Conference for Women. Our conversation was great, I used the information she shared about being an entrepreneur in the classes I taught. So immediately I wrote to see if I could get another interview, and she agreed.

She and her husband, Vontoba, are co-founders of the skin and haircare company Urban Hydration. As we sat and talked, we talked about a number of subjects including life before Urban Hydration, giving back, faith, family, and more.
